One of the most serious problems with the death penalty system is the misuse of resources in costly legal proceedings that could instead help support families of murder victims as they rebuild their lives. As we fight for death penalty repeal, we must also work to support victims and help build the justice system they deserve.
Families of the Stolen is a community organization that provides support for children and families in Omaha that have been affected by violence. The organization draws important attention to the need for justice and peace for victims’ families in the community. FOTS will hold its first ever “Day of Laughter” on May 25 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm at Fontenelle Park in Omaha. The event will include music, games, and free food!
Please consider attending this event to show your support of this important organization. F.O.T.S. is completely dependent on donations to continue their work– if you would like to make a donation to them, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
