We at NADP are very excited to once again participate in Give To Lincoln Day on May 24, 2023.  You don't have to wait though—online giving begins at 12:00am on May 1!  All donations made for the Give To Lincoln challenge will help NADP receive a proportional share of this year's $500,000 Lincoln Community Foundation challenge match fund.  Last year, thousands of individuals made donations to 479 local nonprofit organizations, raising a record-breaking $8 million for the Lincoln nonprofit community!  Donors are once again encouraged to give safely online.

Give To Lincoln Day is a wonderful opportunity for Nebraskans of all walks of life to invest in and partner with the growing movement to end the broken death penalty in our state once and for all.  Are you eager to help?  Your donation will help propel the movement forward in the coming months; with your generous investment, NADP will work hard to rebuild a statewide operation and meet a series of ambitious goals:

  • Supporting our new repeal champions in the Nebraska Legislature

  • Growing outreach and education efforts for elected representatives and prosecutors

  • Gathering support for other legislation that increases transparency and accountability surrounding the execution process

  • Building organizing infrastructure, including volunteers and full-time staff

  • Engaging in robust public awareness campaigns

  • Investing in public outreach efforts: tabling, book clubs, vigils, movie screenings, discussion panels, etc.

  • Producing new thought-provoking materials to further challenge the death penalty as bad public policy

Thank you!
