Last Friday, the Lincoln Journal-Star published a fantastic editorial highlighting the numerous reasons why the death penalty is a failed public policy and calling for the death penalty to be repealed in Nebraska.
The editorial touches on the recent botched execution in Oklahoma, as well as a new study suggesting that over 4% of those sentenced to death in the United States are innocent.
