Every year, NADP raises money through a silent auction at our annual event. The money we raise directly funds our work traveling the state of Nebraska and educating people about the death penalty.
In order to raise as much money as possible, we need you to help us out by donating items or helping to get things donated for the auction.
What can I donate?
Fill a gift basket with themed treats—books, CDs, spa treatments, food, etc.
Are you a good cook? How about baking some cookies or pastries and auctioning those? Or, make dinner for six with a themed cuisine at your house.
Pick up some gift cards to businesses in your area, or, better yet, get them donated!
Do you have access to a time share, beach house, ski lodge, or rental apartment? Offer a weekend away when you won’t be using it.
Are you a season ticket holder? Offer up your seats to the Husker game or to the theater.
Donate your services! Offer to babysit for a special evening sans children. Or, donate tax services for the 2013 tax season. Drive someone to the airport for their next trip, or give your expert advice on landscaping!
Know any celebrities? See if you can set up a soirée with them at your house or out on the town. Or, have them sign their book and donate that.
Donate a piece of original art work.
